eLearning

Volunteer Onboarding Course for Sleeping Bear National Park.

Hybrid Course

New System Training for 40 staff. Staff were moving from a 30 year old mainframe system. This course was delivered via instructor-led, simulation, and eLearning.

Certification

Snagit Certification for New and Existing Users. For this project I worked with contractors to develop an eLearning certification program.

2011

Completed Masters in Educational Technology

Built skills in instructional design, digital media, infographics, and research through the Masters in Educational Technology program at Michigan State University.
2013 - 2019

Training and Communications at Michigan State University

Advanced from Training Coordinator and Social Media Liaison to Assistant Director of Training and Communications. Developed instructor led training and hybrid training courses ranging from new hire to serving as Training Lead for the implentation of a new financial aid management system impacting 40 staff.
2019 - 2024

Instructional Designer, Lead at TechSmith Corporation

Served on the Marketing and Customer Education Teams creating video tutorials, onboarding assets, blogs, webinars, and other content to help customers get to success quickly with Snagit, Camtasia, and Audiate.
2024 - Present

Digital Marketing Specialist

Combined experience in marketing, instructional design, and previous experience in a financial aid office to grow awareness of State of Michigan scholarship and grants programs.
